    Adam,

The MP3 that came down from my subscription goes blank at 17:16 and is silent for the remainder.

BTW, I disagree with your nomenclature that buying from iTunes with Pymusique is “stealing.” It’s not stealing unless you get it without paying, and paying your money to have it in a form without DRM obviously is not. There are all kinds of reasons why you might want to have it without DRM, and every track you rip from a CD has no DRM and that is also obviously not stolen. When you use this language, you buy into the man’s whole “if you don’t have it in a form completely controlled by us in every aspect you are a criminal” BS.

I really like MacCast. Listen to it all the time. But I’ve gotta say the new cliffhanger ending about the GM announcement has me checking every five minutes. It’s killing me, Adam, what HAS GM announced?? Put me out of my misery!
    Thanks for many great shows!

Does he even listen to his own show? How come there has been no response about this? Very odd.

Sorry gang. For some reason the mixdown coming from GarageBand cut out at 19:26. I fixed it and your podcatching client should pick up the fixed feed. If not you can directly download it from here:

Sorry if this caused you any trouble.

    Dave,
I totally agree that it was wrong to use the term “stealing”. As I was making the announcement about PyMusique I realized I should do a little CMOA and I spoke too hastily. Anyway just so you don’t worry, I am NOT controlled by the man. I listen to my tunes my way.

  14. MacCast | Mar 20 2005 - 12:00

To respond to the comment on me not listening to my own show….

I spend 20+ hours of my own time preparing, planning, recording, mixing, editing, producing and publishing the show. Each show runs 30+ mins and I do 3 week, so to listen to each one would add another hour and a half to my already crazy schedule. Sorry I just can’t give much more. And just so you know, this is the first time this has happened in 39 shows.

Yeah, Adam. Just considering how much effort it takes just to send you an MP3 audio comment, I have a lot of respect for your efforts in putting together this podcast.

I might take that comment as high praise as I know that I was disappointed that the podcast cut out so soon because I love your show.

I’m on my way now to pick up the fixed copy.
