Channel 5 was launched less than 10 years ago.

It has by far the lowest viewing figures of all the 5 terrestrial channels.

(but 100% of people in the UK with satellite or cable can get Channel 5 free of charge)

But saying that, Channel 5 does have a few very good programmes.

but still.. this is superb. I love the MacCast

Why?
- the presenter (of the MacCast) is just an honest guy, not prentious, no commercial agenda (no adverts) , he’s intellingent etc. etc.

Adam, you don’t even need to bother with fancy jingles, prizes. Please keep up the good work.

To quote from the show, “Here’s a brilliant one I can thoroughly recommend, The Maccast, for Mac geeks by Mac geeks”. To be mentioned on a cable/satellite channel would be cool, but this was shown on one of the United Kingdomâ€™s main five terrestrial channels (i.e. everyone in the UK has these channels). It was the only podcast Jon Bentley recommended on the show, with only a passing glance of Adam Curry’s show. The Maccast is also the only podcast mentioned on their website - http://www.five.tv/gadgetshow/ and click â€œlinksâ€. Well done Adam
