Adam, I use the enhanced podcast every time. However, perhaps not for the reason you intended.

While I'm sure that each of the items are of interest to many, not all of the items are of interest to me. The MacCast is usually very long and it is great to be able to jump from item to item and then listen. Sometimes I listen to most all of the show, sometimes not. When I see that a show is over an hour, and there are no chapter marks, I may just skip the episode.

The MacCast was to first MAC centric podcast I started listening to, even before I had a MAC. You do a great job, but wanted to be real with you. As a compromise, and don't know if this would really save you anytime, might want to consider putting time (mm:ss) in the show notes for the major sections.

Hey Adam,

Another great show, I did not had time to hear it over the weekend that is why I'm leaving a comment today. About the chapter marks for the enhanced MacCast, I agree with everyone else in the fact that they become handy from time to time. I don't use them all the time, but when something comes up that I'm not interested in listening I like to skip forward and continue with the show. Anyway, keep it up you are the best.

Hi Adam,

Please note that although Mozy had released a Macintosh version, it is still very much a Beta (I would consider it "Alpha") state.

I had been corresponding with Mozy's technical support on the issues I had been encountering and you can find document of my experience in my Blog.

I definitely would NOT recommend Mozy to any Mac users at the moment.

The main reason photoshop is top dog is because how easy it is to pirate. I think is was Alex Lindsay who was talking about his first few days at ILM for starwars ep1 and someone in the room asked how many of them started off with a legit version of Photoshop and not a single hand went up, then asked how many now own a copy and every hand in the room went up. Also when 3ds max and maya where coming up their where actually a few other programs that where much better than those two but they also have almost uncrackable protection and because of that they faded away.

As always I enjoyed your show, but I did miss the advantages of the enhanced version. I am getting old and along with my eye sight going my hearing is starting to fade so it helps when the web sights discussed come up in the window so I can just click on them. The chapters are also handy when I want to go back later to find information on something I remember you discussing. Your podcasts are a wealth of information and I have saved them for future reference.

Keep up the good work and if the shows are a little slow coming out I do not mind. Good things are worth waiting for. God bless.

I use the chapters functionality of the enhanced versions to skip over parts that I'm not so interested in and like that ability. However, I could just scrub through the episodes and be just fine. It would be less convenient, but if dropping chapters would things significantly easier for you as you said, I'd say you should do it.

You do a very good job with this podcast, and I like how in the last episode you played various audio comments. It can be nice to hear a variety of voices in a podcast. You're doing great, and don't feel like you have something to apologize to us for.

Hey Adam
I too love the enhanced version.. (I do understand that it adds a whack of time to production but the enhanced version for me is priceless).

But thanks for the MacCast. You do great work.

Adam, We stand next to you. If need so, get some r&r or a break. you sure build this community that cares about the Mac. I fund you kind of interesting to listen to. Oh, and thanks for this website, that goes to all the writers who submit their articles too. I'm proud to be in this community.

I use the hyperlinks in the enhanced feed all the time. When the episodes go over one hour, I don't always have time to listen to the whole thing. The hyperlinks make it very easy to skip over the longer portions that I don't always have interest in. This is one of the best things about the MacCast.

Adam,
I do use the hyperlinks and I do think it's a great component of your podcast. However, I would totally understand if you discontinued this service for lack of time. Thanks for putting out such a great show!

I second what Chris said. I hope you got some (probably) needed R&R from us, YOUR community. =D I did seem to check my iTunes podcast a lil' more often though... info withdrawal much? I think so. Keep up the great work Adam, we really do appreciate the content!

Hey adam,
I got your comment yesterday about being sorry you can't get the episodes out as often as you would like. I may come off a little strong, but in no way should you ever feel like you need to apologize for not getting episodes out 'on time.' I think I could speak for a great majority of the maccast community that you are expected to have your life and we all understand things come up. We definitely appreciate hearing from you that you are alright and healthy.

Anyway, adam, Thank you so much for this one! I haven't listened to it yet, but will soon!

Hi Adam, thank you for this show, I had it on while I was working on a file and then I heard your article on the batteries in MacBooks. Well, I have a MacBook, and yep one end was tilting and yep the battery cycle count was 73. Hmmm. I called the Service Centre, yep, theres a problem and yep they want it for.... A WEEK...ho humm. Now that will take some planning, letting go of the core machine for a week...
Never mind, I'm just grateful I found out about it, Great job Adam, thanks a bundle. I think I have been listening for about 18 months or more, every show...
Kindest regards
Jason
