I bought this for my teen daughter and am quite pleased. She loves it, and it takes great pictures.

under really bright light(ie. outside under sunny conditions) - it can sometimes be hard to see the screen - not so much for taking pictures but for making changes for the shooting modes. the resolution of the photo and the size and style of this camera make it a winner.

We have since seen quite a few of these come through our shop. Seems like they were very popular new, and they have maintained a good following as a used camera. And for the price, you can’t beat the features, and the ease in carrying. I did have someone say that it was so thin that they accidentaly crushed it in their carryon, but other than that, we’ve had great reviews and success with the camera.

Thanks for the review, I have a DSLR but am looking for a smaller camera for the pocket so I’ll check this one out further. Any chance of posting some photos from the Fuji?

Don’t worry yourself. This video was shot by myself and I am a staff writer for Maccast.
It has nothing to do directly with the Mac, but digital photography is a big part of many Mac users lives, so is very relevant. I hope it helps Maccast readers make an informed buying decision, if they are in the market for a compact digital camera.
