Hey Adam - just a quick thought about finding a market for a Mac tablet: how about the person at the Apple stores who manage the Genius Bar queue? You know, the one who walks around with a Macbook perched in his/hands. Wouldn't they look much cooler with a Mac tablet?

In addition to changing the name of the calendar widget to "iCal", Apple also introduced some new functionality. When you click the large day number the widget has always brought out the month view, but now if you click it again, it slides out a third pane with a list of that days events. Clicking on an event opens it in iCal (the application).

It's just you Gazmaz. :-)

Seriously, the issues Leopard is having seem well within what I would call normal expectations when upgrading an OS. There will always be issues with third party apps when upgrading that's just the way of things. Could Apple have a bit more to help lessen the amount of issues with third parties? I think so, but I don't see gross neglect on Apple's part.

As for issues with first party hardware and software, I again don't see mass complaints. The issues that have cropped up have been rather limited and Apple seems right on top of them releasing a few minor updates already.

I have 8 friends who have updated with no issue. I think the internet can make some issues seem wider spread than they are. None of the reviews I have read mentioned thinking the OS was rushed out. In fact, they seem to be mostly glowing.
