A podcast about all things Macintosh. For Mac geeks, by Mac geeks. Episode 134. I’ve recently had a number of folks ask about Apple’s Airplay and more specifically about Airplay Mirroring. OS X Mountain Lion brought support for Airplay Mirroring to newer Macs and there are a lot of questions about why support is not broader. In this episode I look at Apple’s Airplay Mirroring and try to understand why Apple choose to limit it and what 3rd party solutions we might use to open it up to more Mac users.

Apple’s iCloud and several other online services were used as pawns last week in an elaborate socially engineered hack on a Wired reporters Twitter account. A podcast about all things Macintosh. For Mac geeks, by Mac geeks. Episode 132. There is such a thing as tempting fate and getting overly confident in ones ability to keep our precious iDevices safe. My track record to date has been fairly flawless minus a few bumpd scuffs and scrapes. But all good things can end and some more horrifically and spectacularly than others. Here is my tale.
