Going unnoticed on the 6SE is the feature I’ve wanted most, the return to the original button placement of the power button on top and the volume buttons on the side. Having those two sets of buttons opposite each other and the same shape has caused me no end of frustration. I use my phone all day as an audio player in my pocket. On all the other 6 models it is so hard tell if the phone is upside down or backward in my pocket or in the dark. I’d buy the SE just for that but I also prefer the ease of single handed use with the smaller form factor.

Thinking about getting deleted messages back. I get occasional price alerts from my brokerage account. These come as SMS messages. I usually delete them from my phone when I receive them. But then when I get home, I open up my laptop (that’s been asleep all day) and these messages all come in. Same thing with my iPad. I’ve always considered this to sort of be a bug – I hate having to go through and delete (again) the messages from all my devices. But in the case of your listener, if he has multiple devices maybe those messages can be found on one of the other devices?

Eddie: Yeah, I find the side power button totally frustrating. I’m often turning off my iPhone when I attempt to adjust the volume.

Jeff: Good point. It should actually sync, but I’ve seen the same thing.
