I’m think the problem is over application of agile development practices into other areas under the guise of increasing velocity. These 80/20 rules getting applied in “creative” ways are letting too much slop in these same areas.
It starts at requirements gathering all the way out to marketing with all those 20% missing parts adding up and shining to brightly.
