* Several reports that this is a fake

* If you find the download and open it in a HEX editor it just says GNAA over and over again.

* GNAA is the name of an Internet troll organization.

* According to Wikipedia an Internet troll is, "...a person who makes inflammatory or hostile comments, which by effect or design cause disruptions in discourse, or a post made by such a person"

* Errol Morris, who shot the original Apple Switch ads in 2002, said in an interview he currently working on new ads for Apple

* Rumors have been around that Apple is preparing a new series of Apple focused ads.

* A MacCast listener claimed to be approached at and Apple Store and flown to LA to participate

* New ad feature an "Ames Room". Which uses forced perspective to create an optical illusion.

wedge Unreal Tournament successfully ported to Intel based Mac

* Ryan C. Gordon, the programmer who brought Unreal Tournament 2004 to the Macintosh reported success getting the game to run on an Intel-based Mac at last week’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

* Apple had a lab to help developers work with their code. He was able to get it working even though it was a bit more difficult than expected.

* Claims there is more work to do, but said “… the exact day Intel-Macs hit the retail stores, I fully expect to ship a patch to support these machines.”

* As of Wednesday Apple no longer sells the single processor 1.8 GHz PowerMac

* Replaced by the dual 2.0 GHz model at the same price, $1,999.00 USD

* The other models are the dual 2.3 ($2,499.00 USD) and the dual 2.7 ($2,999.00 USD)

wedge Apple attempts to trademark "Mactel"

* CNet.com is reporting that Apple filed for a trademark on the term "Mactel"

* Also applied for "Jam Box" and in January "iPod Socks" and "Voiceover".

wedge Could Apple "Numbers" round out office suite?

* Also earlier this month AppleInsider is reporting Apple filed for a trademark on "Numbers"

* No confirmation, but the logical assumption is this a a spreadsheet app to fill out the iWork suite which has not sold well.

wedge Intel tech may make next gen Macs three headed monsters

* Virtualization technology built into the next Intel chips will allow the machines to be partitioned to run different types of software or operating systems at the same time.

* The desktop Pentium 4 chips will sport built-in virtualization this year and the Pentium Ms will gain it in 2006.

* There is no reason the machines couldn't run Windows or Linux and all of the associated applications on top of Mac OS X.

* Apple will be opening a new retail store in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 25.
