In the HTML source code on the Apple powerbook page there was a reference for a hidden marketing graphic (1 x 1 pixel gif) that contained the words powerbook_g5

1 hour after the story broke the image tag was changed to powerbook_g4

Also the French Apple site of the Studio 17 flat panel display says in the requirements section of the tech specs that it needs a PowerBook G5 with a DVI connector.
