* After updating to Mac OS X 10.3.9, some systems may have issues with Java applications and Java-enabled websites when using Safari.

* Apple Computer acknowledged the problem late on Monday and posted a workaround to its Web site

wedge Apple announces FinalCut Studio Pro Suite, Shake 4

* Includes updated versions of Final Cut Pro, Motion and DVD Studio Pro and a new app, Soundtrack Pro.

* Suite will sell for $1299 USD, FinalCut Pro users can upgrade for $699 USD and Production Suite owners can upgrade for $499 USD

* All products will also be available separately

* Shake 4 was also announced.
