wedge Tiger Ships Early for Some

* MacMall shipped copies of OS X Tiger early. Some customers received their copies today. One MacCast listener called them and they said it was a mistake with their virtual warehouse and it has been corrected.

* Apple has also sent out copies and customers are reporting getting emails with April 25th arrival dates on standard shipping.

wedge Apple releases Java update for 10.3.9

* "After updating to Mac OS X 10.3.9, some systems may have issues with Java applications and Java-enabled websites when using Safari. Safari may unexpectedly quit, and standalone Java applications may unexpectedly quit or not launch. This update resolves that issue."

wedge Apple Shareholder Meeting

* Apple will re-elect the current board

* Steve defended Apple's environmental practices. There were protesters outside mostly concerned with iPod batteries. Since they are hard to replace people throw them away.

* Steve pointed out Apple $99.00 USD replacement program and Apple's nominal $30 charge to recycle an old Mac. The protesters want it to be free.
