* One million songs available priced at 150 and 200 yen per song

* Nissan, Mazda and Daihatsu in Japan will have iPod integration in their 2006 models. Joining BMW, MINI, smart and Alfa Romeo.

* Some say the two tiered pricing in Japan may signal a pice increase on their stores in 2006. Apple has been pressured by the record industry.

* Napster say it will be available in Japan in the next 12 months.

* According to the Wall street journal. The company is said to have held talks with record label executives over the past two weeks about licensing music.

* It has been confirmed that the technology is not in the current systems shipped to developers

* Reality is that these boxes are production PC's in an Apple case, not DRM or TCPA protected.

* "Sony is expected to offer optional hard drives for the PS3 with potential memory capacity of 80 or 120 GB. It remains to be decided whether the standard version of the PS3 will come complete with a hard drive. The operating system has also yet to be clarified. The integrated Cell processor will be able to support a variety of operating systems (such as Linux or Apple's Tiger)."

* PS3 has a hard drive attachment and using OS X Tiger on PS3 was also hinted at by Kutaragi back in June.
