This are my thoughts on mini-theft:
I think that Apple has a way to disable the RFID chips on their merchandise once you buy them with the revamped iOS app. You buy an Airport Express with your iPhone and when you pay using your iTunes account it has to go and cross reference by location/inventory, etc and disable the alarms so that you can leave the store without setting the thing off.
