A podcast about all things Macintosh. For Mac geeks, by Mac geeks. Episode 129. I discovered recently that in OS X Lion that when you run repair permission in Disk Utility that it will not repair permissions on anything in the users folder. Items inside the user’s home folder are regulated by Access Control Lists (ACLs) while items outside the user’s home folder are regulated by more standard (POSIX) permissions. In this show I attempt to learn a little bit more about these permission systems as they relate to OS X.

I can seem to download the latest two episodes of the podcast. Tried many times but no luck. I even deleted to last episode so I would have to search iTunes and add the podcast again but that doesn’t seem to work either. Any ideas?
