Luckily I was able to hack my way through it after a couple of days, but it shouldn’t be that involved. These devices are supposed to be simple, right? The process made me realize that I know a lot about how to troubleshoot Mac issues, but when it comes to iOS I’d really like to know how to do more without resorting to the “restore” option.
