Congratulations, Adam! I raise my virtual glass and wish you 100 more! Of the 25 or so podcasts I subscribe to, yours is the only one I eagerly await, and always listen to first.

Adam, thanks a lot for the MacCast. A lot that I write about is based on a lot of things you mention in the show. You really do a great deed for all of us, Mac users. So, cheers and congrats on the 100th show!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. For all your hard work, tireless dedication, meticlous care and even-handed reporting. You’ve made The MacCast my favorite Podcast by a wide, wide margin. I hope you can keep it going for years to come! Congradulations!

Congratulations on show 100! I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, but I’m sure it’ll be as great as ever. I’m disappointed I didn’t win Comic Life – it looks so good I’m going to have to buy a copy myself now!

Keep up the great work Adam

    Thanks, Tim

  8. Tom | Nov 08 2005 - 05:37

Nice work Adam, love the show – really interesting, the original and still the best. To think, I used to buy MacWorld! :o) Congrats on 100! I’m gonna keep listening even though I didn’t win the Nano :P

    Tom.

    Nice edit Adam.
    Well done.

Couple of things… 20 Megabyte drive not 20 Gigabyte drive for the GS. Also,

I noticed the 10.4.3 update was 54MB on my Titanium Powerbook and it’s working fine but on my AI Book it was 90+ MB so I assumed at the time it was hardware dependent.

  12. maccast | Nov 08 2005 - 10:53

Ha ha. Robert, did I say 20GB instead of MB. I am always doing that now. These days it is so uncommon to be talking about anything in MBs. :)

  13. Wilf | Nov 08 2005 - 12:43

Well done Adam on the 100th show! I eagerly await each show straight after listening to the last one. Maybe the next hundred may bring the occaisonal video podcast maybe?

Anyway, I didn’t win anything, but I’m not even sure if my postcard reached you from where I lived. The person at the post office was a bit stupid and didn’t know what airmail is. Well, that’s done now so never mind.

Keep it up Adam, we all appreciate it! :)

  14. Nick Circosta | Nov 09 2005 - 01:40

Wonderfull show.. Bring on the rest :)

The ipod battery life is not coming back. See http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm

  16. Pål Børsting | Nov 18 2005 - 10:43

Ipod battery life might come back.

I made this webpage one year ago:
iPod – restore and maximize battery life HOWTO

    http://homepage.mac.com/paalb/iPod/iPod2.html

My daughter is still using my old iPod and getting 7 hours out of it.
I have had no negative feedback. And some who has asked me for additional info I have asked how it went, and they have all been positive.
I am quite shure that this will work for all hardisk based iPods.
