Cool interview Adam! Amber’s a really cool and knowledgeable person.

Also it’s nice to know I’m not the only one that prefers the G4 flat panel iMac design ;o)

  2. Stuart | Aug 08 2005 - 07:18

I’m glad to see you admitted you are a .net programmer during the day, but a Mac user at nite. It’ll help me convert my c# coworker (I’m php 100%), and show he wouldn’t be alone to be mac at home and PC during the day.

Oh. And Amber is super great! Great interview

  3. Ralph Chang | Aug 08 2005 - 08:52

Really enjoyed this interview. And I would like to add that
the videos at the Command N website are really fun to watch.

  4. Alex | Aug 08 2005 - 11:54

Are there any shownotes with links to the web sites mentioned during the interview?

  5. rick atkinson (in UK) | Aug 09 2005 - 02:22

Good interview Adam,.. though you feel that Amber could talk for ever.

How about an interview with Leo?

    Keep up the good work.

I heard you talk about having to use the command line ‘chapter tool’. There is a shareware GUI now out for it, actually there is a couple. I’m using one from Rb software.

It’s free, and i’m going to review it against a pay version of another GUI on my podcast, ‘Vizacast’.

Just wanted to say I loved the interview, and more interviews in the future would certainly be welcomed. Keep up the great work!

Great interview Adam. Another good job. Congratulations from Mexico City.

  9. Mr K | Aug 09 2005 - 11:23

Hey Adam, great interview so far (Haven’t finished it yet). Was wondering if there were links to some of the stuff discussed. I was particularly interested in the Omniweb program Amber mentioned. I’m an amateur web designer who likes to make nice websites, but I take far too long to design them because of my limited knowledge and tool set. Some of the programs she mentioned sounded interesting.

  10. maccast | Aug 09 2005 - 12:55

I don’t have links, but if someone wants to type them out and email them to me I would be happy to post them.

OmniGraffle is from the OmniGroup, http://www.omnigroup.com. They also make OmniWeb and OmniOutliner Pro which I use for the show notes.

  11. jwilson | Aug 09 2005 - 08:38

Has anyone been able to find the onlilne invoicing website that amber mentioned?

    -joey

  12. Steven Price | Aug 10 2005 - 12:11

Adam, consider this a positive feedback for the interview.

Also you did do sort of an interview with that guy about the switch to Intel. Although it was something of a discussion too.

  13. Amber | Aug 10 2005 - 04:01

    Adam –

Thanks for asking me to do the interview! It was lots of fun.

As for the online invoicing site/service (which rocks), it’s called Blinksale – http://www.blinksale.com.

    Enjoy!

  14. jon from vancouver | Aug 10 2005 - 10:02

I watch Command-N and it is pretty good, I like Amber and her style. Leo was on one of their past shows if you’re interested.

  15. Ryan Gray | Aug 10 2005 - 08:02

The Yellow mug site mentioned is: http://www.yellowmug.com/
They have several freeware programs. I really like SizzlingKeys.

  16. susan | Aug 10 2005 - 10:05

Great interview. I definitely think you should do more interviews. :) Amber or someone else also needs to lobby G4 in the US to get the TechTV shows back on here.

  17. Stefan Bucher | Aug 11 2005 - 02:19

Good interview, thank you. Amber mentioned Yellow Mug Software and you, Adam, said, you were not familiar with that.
One freeware app that I would recommend ist SnapNDrag (http://www.yellowmug.com/snapndrag/). It lets you grab screen shots and save them in different formats.

  18. Jerry Zigmont | Aug 11 2005 - 04:24

What was the website/blog that Amber found to be a great source for websitesand programs ? She said that the site had a great sensibilty …

  19. Jayson | Aug 11 2005 - 11:27

I finally had a chance to sit down and listen to the interview in it’s entirety. For being the first that you have done, I found it rather informative and quite enjoyable. Glad to see there is another iRooster user out there other than me!

  20. John | Aug 13 2005 - 05:18

great interview. What was the bookmarking site she mentioned? ferol or what.

  21. jon from vancouver | Aug 15 2005 - 03:04

Call for Help is coming to the US, according to Leo.

  22. Paulie | Aug 16 2005 - 04:46

“What was the website/blog that Amber found to be a great source for websites and programs? She said that the site had a great sensibilty …”

I think the one you are asking about is called Waxy (http://www.waxy.org/links)

  23. Mike | Aug 16 2005 - 09:03

Good interview Adam. I think you are a natural at interviewing and asking good questions. Thanks for your podcast — I really enjoy it.

  24. Mr. Protocol | Aug 19 2005 - 09:03

There was one Web site that both Adam and Amber seemed to know all about, that they used as a reviewing/filtering site. It sounded quite useful. Of course this being a podcast, I could only go by what it sounded like, which was “furl” or “ferl” or “firl” or “Ferrell”…only it’s none of those.

    Help?

  25. Aaron Brethorst | Aug 20 2005 - 01:00

Hey – I’m the developer of iRooster. It’s great to see Amber and Jayson still like my app. I’ve been incredibly swamped by my day job for a very, very long time, but I am actively working on a new version and I hope to release some more details soon. Cheers :)
