I can’t get this to play on my iPod touch. iTunes version. Error says it can’t be played, did you do something different than usual?

I noticed that in the new Mac App Sore, the “traffic light” buttons are back to the original horizontal form, unlike the “controversial” vertical approach taken in iTunes 10.

In the podcast you mention Time Machine and NAS devices, the readynas allows time machine backups:

wc, nope. This has been an on and off issue with the iTunes Store and iOS. The EXACT same file will download, sync, and play on your device through iTunes just fine. It’s not the file, format, or the devices support for it. The issue does seem to be intermittent and varies on device, iOS version, etc. I have contacted Apple and they are aware of the issue and supposedly working on a fix, but it’s been ongoing for more than 6 months, so I don;t hold much hope. Sorry for the trouble.
