Maccast Members

A podcast about all things Macintosh. For Mac geeks, by Mac geeks. Episode 196. Whenever a tech story comes up that involves security there are often a lot of industry specific terms thrown around. When that happens sites don’t often take the time to explain phrases like “backdoor” or “encryption”. I thought it might be helpful to have just a basic background in terms you might hear when stories like this come up. Our friend George Starcher joins me to go over this basic security glossary.
