    Hi Adam

I was surprised to hear in your podcast that Apple Pay adoption in US hinges on merchant ability to accept this form of payment. Here in Australia Apple Pay is still in its infancy, with only American Express and ANZ Bank Visa processing payments, however that does not stop us from going to countless merchants who accept AmEx or Visa. Wherever there is a PayPass terminal (this is how banks call locally contactless form of payment), Apple Pay is accepted as it is simply provided as extension to your credit card.

    Best regards

    Tom
