    Thanks for tips Adam. Got Tiger today (psst, don’t tell Steve) and went upgrade route with no problems (I posted at the Forum with some other info). Spotlight will take some time to index, so plan on making lots of coffee but should be worth the wait. Looking forward to the Friday made podcasts with you and Steve Holden.

    yes, thanks, the cast hast prompted me to backup my harddrive which is a good idea of course. You can purchase 120GB Firewire drives for only $99 bucks now!

    i also liked the song :)

    I was planning on doing an Archive and Install of Tiger, but your show convinced me to go ahead and do a full Clean Install. I’ve gone with the basic Upgrade for both Jaguar and Tiger with no difficulties but I guess it’s time to wipe those completely away and start over nice and fresh especially since my Mac is 3 years old now. Best to give it a thorough cleaning.

    I especially appreciated your reminder to de-authoriz your computer for music purchsed through the iTunes Music Store! I would have never thought of that. Thanks!

    TIGER HAS LANDED! Unbelievable, I ordered it through Apple’s website and the FedEx guy just dropped it off… I’m just a LITTLE excited!!!

    Those that forget to deauthorise their computer from the iTunes server can email apple tech support afterwards to request the deauthorisation. Not as simple as remembering to do it beforehand ;)

    Adam;
    Great show and great timing. Although my Powerbook is new since March but I have to pay the 129 which I don’t have just yet. I’ll have to find this show when I do finally get it.
