    Excellent coverage of the event, thank you for your efforts.

    I was surprised that the iPhone did not use sapphire, or a sapphire derivative. I found it interesting that Tim Cook used the ion exchange process name rather than the trademark Gorilla Glass from corning in his presentation.

    It would appear that Apple is trying not to send props their way. Maybe they have a new glass formulation in mind and intend on cutting out corning?
